MUMn. (pl. Mums alt. Mom, Mummy, Mother, Ma. Mama. Mamma, Momma, Mammy, Mater) Amazing women who gives births to, adopts or takes on the female parenting role to one or more child. Naturally resilient multi-tasker with a super-heroic capacity for love and just getting things done.

Well, despite all the recent media interest and the creation of titles like “Lipstick Entrepreneurs, it’s a myth to believe business acumen amongst women and mothers, in particular, is a new phenomenon. Looking back through history it would be hard, well probably impossible to find an era where mothers did not work. Even in the middle classes of the Victorian era the woman of the house were responsible for the household – its budget and servants.
